Coronavirus Information

Dear PPA Families,

Recently, a new strain of coronavirus has been detected in thousands of people worldwide. The City is monitoring the outbreak closely and working with our partners at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Please be reassured that there is no need for alarm or to change daily routines in any way. The City is closely monitoring the situation, and all New Yorkers are advised to follow the same precautions they normally would in cold and flu season. Please see the recommendations below, as well as the at-length letter from the Dept. of Ed. in numerous languages.

• If not already vaccinated — get your flu shot.

• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when sneezing or coughing.

• Wash your hands with soap and water often — use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not
available.

• Stay home if you have a fever or are feeling sick.

Juniors and Seniors, let's get back on the road again!

This March 6-7, we only have 50 spots available for our annual Washington, D.C. trip that includes tours of the White House, Capitol Building, African American Museum, and NASA Museum, as well as four meals.

Payment of $215 is due along with permission slips by February 26. Please see Ms. Flannery in Room 452 to sign up or for more information.
